Glob Tops & Potting Compounds
Our Vitralit range of 'Glob Tops' are all single component epoxies.
Glob Tops are tough, durable and resilient coating designed to protect fragile components on PCB's used mainly in chip on board applications.
Vitralit 1691 (Glob Top) - Is a black UV or heat curing coating. This product does not have to be freeze stored. It can be used to encapsulate resistors and chips on PCB's to give a permanent coating.
Vitralit 1600LV (Glob Top) - Is a black UV or heat curing epoxy and is used as the 'fill' component on a dam and fill glob top application.
Vitralit 1670 (Glob Top) - Is a black heat curing epoxy that is used as the 'dam' component on a dam and fill application. Vitralit 1670 does not have to be freeze stored.
Vitralit 1650 (Glob Top) - Is a quartz filled UV/UVA curing grey coloured epoxy.
Vitralit 1690 (Glob Top) - Is a very thick UV or heat curing black epoxy glob top.
Low Ionic content, temperature resistant -40 to +180º C.
Vitralit 4641 (Potting Compound) - Is a UV/VL curing acrylic adhesive with short curing time and a dry surface. It has a good adhesion to many substrates including metals, ceramics, glass and lots of plastics. Vitralit 4641 is very flexible and ductile. Vitralit 4641 is used for potting applications, stress re-life, coating and as a "form in place gasket". Vitralit 4641 is a fantastic alternative to using UV- silicones.
